Hubbard, L(afayette) Ron(ald) (1911–1986)

US science fiction and fantasy writer, founder in 1954 of Scientology.

His first story was published in the pulp magazine Astounding Science Fiction 1938. His novels include Return to Tomorrow 1954 and Fear 1957.
