Hudson, Kate Garry (1979– )| US actor. Sharing the appealing blonde beauty, vitality, and charm of her mother, US actor Goldie Hawn, she rose to stardom at the end of the 1990s. Her breakthrough role was in Cameron Crowe's autobiographical film Almost Famous (2000; Academy Award nomination). Other films include the war drama The Four Feathers (2002) and the romantic comedies How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003), Le Divorce (2003), and Raising Helen (2004). |

She graduated from Crossroads School of Arts and Sciences and was accepted into drama school at New York University, though she chose to pursue her career in Hollywood instead. She appeared in the Party of Five television series in 1996 and hosted US comedy show Saturday Night Live in 2000. She is married to US singer Chris Robinson (2000). |
