Hull, John

Hull, John (1624–1683)

English-born American merchant and goldsmith. He went to Boston in 1635, became the mintmaster for the colony of Massachusetts in 1652, coined the colony's pine tree emblem shillings in 1662 and served as the colony's treasurer 1676–80.
