Hunters Creek Village

City in Harris County, southeastern Texas; population (1990) 4,000. This suburb is the largest of a cluster of six small, affluent residential cities (the ‘Memorial Villages’) on or near Interstate 90, on the western side of Houston, some 24 km/15 mi from the city centre.

Apart from Hunters Creek Village, the Memorial Villages are: Spring Valley (population 3,400); Bunker Hill Village (population 3,400); Piney Point Village (population 3,200); Hedwig Village (population 2,600); and Hilshire Village (population 670).
