Huntington Station

Unincorporated village within Huntington town, Suffolk County, southeastern New York State; population (1990) 28,200. Huntington Station is located 56 km/35 mi east of Manhattan and immediately south of Huntington, on the North Shore of Long Island.

Huntington Station is primarily residential, but is also a major shopping centre for eastern Nassau County and western Suffolk County, with a large regional mall. It also has some light manufacturing.
