Name of three ancient Sicilian cities: Hybla Major, situated on the southern slope of Mount Etna; Hybla Minor, later the site of a Dorian colony known as ‘Megara Hyblaea’; and Hybla Heraea, on the route from Agrigentum to Syracuse.
