Pagliacci

Opera by Leoncavallo (libretto by composer), produced in Milan at the Teatro dal Verme, on 21 May 1892. The story involves a group of actors. Tonio reveals Nedda's lover (Silvio) to her husband Canio. During a play which reflects their real-life situation, Canio stabs his wife and then Silvio.
