International Finance Corporation

Agency of the United Nations affiliated to the World Bank. It was set up 1956 to facilitate loans for private investment to developing countries.

The IFC is a subsystem of the AT & L Knowledge Sharing System (AKSS) and serves as a pictorial roadmap of most key activities in the system's acquisition process defined by DoD Series 5000 regulations.

Interferential currents are similar to TENS, although the use of IFC appears to be primarily by physical therapists.
