Ibáñez, Vicente Blasco (1867–1928)Spanish novelist and politician. His novels include La barraca/The Cabin (1898), the most successful of his regional works; Sangre y arena/Blood and Sand (1908), the story of a famous bullfighter; and Los cuatro jinetes del Apocalipsis/The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (1916), a product of the effects of World War I.
