Ibstock

Village in Leicestershire, England, between Leicester and Burton-on-Trent, 8 km/5 mi north of Market Bosworth; population (2001) 6,700. The main industries are the manufacture of tiles and bricks, boots and shoes, and light engineering.

Archbishop William Laud, a principal figure in the lead-up to the English Civil War, was rector of the parish church at Ibstock.

SCOTT HENRY, 21, of Bewicke Road, Braunston and DANIEL COLEMAN, aged 37, of Leicester Road, Ibstock were both given a 10-month prison sentence and an eight-year football banning order.
