Immaculata

Unincorporated community within East Whiteland township - population (1990) 8,400 - in Chester County, southeastern Pennsylvania. This residential suburb lies 40 km/25 mi west of Philadelphia, and is the site of Immaculata College (founded 1920).

On its website it has posted three free downloadable cellphone ringtones that feature the sounds of local church bells--the Immaculata Bell of St.
Lawrence Davidson, who teaches Middle East history at West Chester University in Pennsylvania, and his anthropologist wife, Janet Amighi, who teaches at Immaculata University in Pennsylvania, recently returned from an informative trip to Syria and Iran.
Additionally, the Partnership collaborated with officials from Somerset County, The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT), Somerville Borough, Bridgewater Township, The Bridgewater Commons Mall, local police, council and community members, the local planning boards, public works departments, and the students of the Immaculata and Somerville-Bridgewater High Schools.
