Inver Grove Heights

City in Dakota County, southeastern Minnesota; population (1990) 22,500. Inver Grove Heights is a suburb of St Paul, located 13 km/8 mi southeast of the city centre on the Mississippi River. Substantial recent commercial and residential development has taken place here, especially along the Interstate 494 corridor in the north.
