Inverurie

Market town and former royal burgh of Aberdeenshire unitary authority, Scotland, situated at the confluence of the rivers Urie and Don, 26 km/16 mi northwest of Aberdeen; population (2001) 10,900. It lies at the centre of the Garioch, a rich agricultural area, and offers visitors excellent river fishing and a golf course.
