Iseo

Lake in Lombardy region, northern Italy, between the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia. It is traversed by the River Oglia, a tributary of the River Po. Enclosed by mountains on two sides, it contains a large mountainous island, Monte Isola, which rises to 595 m/1,952 ft.
