Isham, Ralph Hayward (1890–1955)

US manuscript collector. A business executive, he devoted his leisure time to tracking down and acquiring manuscripts and papers of the English author James Boswell. He published an 18-volume edition of his collection 1928–34 and sold the originals to Yale University in 1949.

He was born in New York City.
