Isle of Man TT races

Motorcyle races held in May–June each year on the Isle of Man, England. The TT (Tourist Trophy) races first took place in 1907 because the laws of England and Wales at that time did not allow roads to be closed to hold races, but an act of Parliament allowed Manx roads to be closed for racing trials. Major races involve six laps of the mountain course, which measures 60.82 km/37.73 mi.
