Thompson, Jack (John Payne) (1940– )

Australian television and film actor. He came to prominence in the television series Spyforce (1971–72). His films include Sunday Too Far Away (1975), Breaker Morant (1980), The Man from Snowy River (1982), Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence (1983), and Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (1997).
