Jackson, Betty (1947– )

English fashion designer. She launced her first collection in 1981 and achieved an international reputation as a designer of feminine, young, up-to-the-minute clothes. She has produced simple shaped separates, generously cut, in solid colours and some bold printed fabrics.

She has designed lines for British department stores Marks and Spencer (from 2000) and Debenhams (from 2004).
