Jackson, Martha (c. 1907-c. 1969)

US art dealer. She was the owner and director of the Martha Jackson Gallery, New York City 1953-69, and president of Red Parrot Films c. 1964-69. She was known as an early supporter of the paintings and sculptures of abstract expressionists.

Born in Buffalo, New York, she studied at Smith College 1925-28 and at Moore College of Art, Philadelphia, in 1969.
