Jajce
| Town in Bosnia-Herzegovina, at the confluence of the rivers Pliva and Vrbas; population (2005 est) 10,600. There are leather and textile industries and hydroelectric installations nearby. In the 15th century it was the capital of the kingdom of Bosnia, and here the last king was put to death by the Turks in 1463. |
