I left some Japanese prints there, and my favourite nightmare is that someone has broken in and sneaked them.
It's like those fanciful Japanese prints, where the snow on the mountain looks like sugar, and the gilt on the pagodas is like gilt on gingerbread.
Whistler was an influence strong with the English and his compatriots, and the discerning collected Japanese prints.
