Jean de Paris

Opera by François Boieldieu (libretto by C G de Saint-Just), first produced at the Opéra-Comique, Paris, France, on 4 April 1812. In the story, the king has chosen the princess of Navarre as a bride for the dauphin. Disguised as simple Jean, the dauphin meets her and falls in love.
