Jenkins, Neil Roger (1971– )Welsh rugby union player. A goal kicker who played at stand-off, he was sometimes selected at fullback. In October 1999 he overtook Michael Lynagh's record of 911 points to become the highest international points scorer of all time and, in February 2001, he became the first player to score over 1,000 international points. He also became the record all-time points scorer in the Six Nations championship, finishing the 2000 tournament with a total of 332 points. One of the stars of the triumphant British Lions tour of South Africa in 1997, he scored 41 of the Lions' 59 points in the three-test series.
