Jenkintown

Borough within Montgomery County, southeastern Pennsylvania; population (1990) 4,600. Jenkintown is a residential suburb that lies 16 km/10 mi northeast of Philadelphia. It produces steel and paper products and is the site of Manor Junior College (founded 1947).
