Jensen, Arthur R(obert) (1923- )

US educational psychologist. He concluded in a controversial Harvard Education Review article in 1969 that on average whites are more intelligent than blacks; his subsequent report in 1979 that intelligence tests are not race biased further stoked the controversy surrounding his work.

He was born in San Diego, California.
