Jeux d'enfants

Suite for piano duet by Georges Bizet, Op. 22, composed in 1871. The Petite Suite for orchestra arranged from five pieces of it (1872) was first performed in Paris, France, on 2 March 1873.

Add to that some delicate - and occasionally quite rumbustious - playing in Bizet's Petite Suite from Jeux d'enfants, this was another welcome addition to ``Tod'' Handley's list of engagements with the RLPO.
Additional favorites are En Bateau by Debussy, Berceuse by Faure and the showstopper "Le Bal," from Bizet's Jeux d'enfants.
