Johnson, Nunnally (1897–1977)| US screenwriter and film producer/director. He wrote many scripts for films ranging from The Grapes of Wrath (1940) to The Dirty Dozen (1967). Between 1935 and 1960, he also produced and directed films. |
| He was born in Columbus, Georgia. After many years as a newspaper reporter and then short-story writer, he went to Hollywood and began writing scripts in 1933. |
