Joppatowne

Unincorporated village in Harford County, northeastern Maryland, 27 km/17 mi northeast of Baltimore; population (1990) 11,100. Joppatowne is a residential suburb situated on the Gunpowder River. It was once the seat (1712–68) of the former Baltimore County.

Meridian Capital Group has arranged a construction loan of $10,000,000 for Harborside Apartments in Joppatowne, Maryland, a Baltimore bedroom community of Baltimore.
The college also works with Joppatowne High School in Harford on its magnet program in homeland security.
