Jordy, William H(enry) (1917– )

US architectural historian. His contributions to 20th-century architectural history include the comprehensive American Buildings and their Architects 1970–72 (with William H Pierson) and the standard study Louis Sullivan 1986.

Born in Poughkeepsie, New York, he was a faculty member of Brown University (1955).
