Juanita

Unincorporated community in King County, west-central Washington State; population (1990) 17,200. Located on Juanita Bay, at the northern end of Lake Washington, it has a popular lakeside park. Juanita, which developed around a shingle mill, is a residential suburb of Seattle, some 13 km/8 mi northeast of the city centre.
