Concert overture by Carl Maria von Weber, Op. 59, composed in 1818 as a companion piece to the Jubel-Cantate for the 50th anniversary of the accession of the king of Saxony, Frederick Augustus, and performed in Dresden, Saxony (Germany), on 20 September that year. It concludes with the tune of ‘God save the King’.
