Judas Iscariot (lived 1st century AD)

In the New Testament, the disciple who betrayed Jesus Christ. Judas was the treasurer of the group. At the last Pesach (Passover) supper, he arranged, for 30 pieces of silver, to point out Jesus to the chief priests so that they could arrest him. Afterward, Judas was overcome with remorse and committed suicide.
