KA9Q

In computing, TCP/IP protocol named after the call sign of Philip Karn, the radio ham who wrote it for packet radio. The system proved also to be useable on telephone connections, and so was adapted to several other computer platforms. It formed the basis of connections to Demon Internet for many years.
