Berwick, MD, MPP, president and CEO of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), has been appointed an honorary KBE (Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire) by HM Queen Elizabeth II. The publication of The Defence of Duffer's Drift by Captain (later Major-General Sir) Ernest Swinton, KBE, CB, DSO, in 1905, was extremely well received and became required reading for many subsequent generations of young officers. EDS starting adding KBE into Unigraphics two years ago. |
