Kadoma

Town in Zimbabwe, 140 km/87 mi southwest of Harare on the road and railway links to Bulawayo; population (2002 est) 76,200. It is the centre of a rich mining area producing gold, copper, and nickel. There is a large cotton mill and textile works for locally grown cotton, and paper and paper products are also manufactured.
