Karr, Gary (1941– )
| US double-bass player. His career began in 1962 with appearances with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra and as a solo recitalist. He toured Europe in 1964 and in 1967 was the soloist in the first performance of Henze's concerto for double bass and orchestra, a work which he commissioned. |
