Kauer, Ferdinand (1751–1831)

Austrian composer. He studied at Znaim and Vienna, where he was appointed leader and second conductor at the Leopoldstadt Theatre, for which he wrote music for about 100 pantomimes and farces, as well as operettas and operas.
