Croatian composer. His mature style employes serial and aleatory techniques.

He studied at the Zagreb Conservatory with Štjepan Sulek (1914–1986).

König Ubu (1965), State of Siege (after Camus's The Plague, 1970), and Apocalyptica ballet-opera (1979).

Koncertantne Improvizacije for strings (1955), Concerto giocoso for chamber orchestra, concertos for violin and bassoon, concertino for double bass and strings, Symphonic Music 57, Abecedarium for strings (1973), Mageia for orchestra (1979), Dramatico for cello and orchestra (1985), Fantasmas for viola and orchestra (1986).
