Kelly, Gerald Festus (1879–1972)

English painter. He specialized in portraits, his sitters including George VI, Elizabeth II, and the writer Somerset Maugham. He also painted numerous studies of Burmese girls and dancers. He was knighted in 1945.

Kelly was educated at Eton and Trinity Hall, Cambridge, and studied art in London and Paris.
