Kennedy, James (1406-1466)

Scottish cleric and statesman. As Bishop of St Andrews, he played a prominent part in the politics of Scotland during the minority of James II, and later acted as regent during the minority of James III.

Kennedy was the founder of St Salvator's College at St Andrews in 1450.
