Kensit, Patsy (1968– )

English actor and singer. She rose to fame as a child performer in the 1970s, appearing in The Great Gatsby in 1974. She also appeared in Lethal Weapon 2 (1989), and more recently in Angels and Insects (1995).

Kensit was born in Hounslow, London. As well as acting, she briefly attempted a singing career, singing with the band Eighth Wonder who had a chart hit with ‘I'm Not Scared’ in 1988. She has become a celebrity due to her lifestyle as well as her career, and is often in the media eye for her high-profile relationships. She was married to singer Jim Kerr who fronted the rock group Simple Minds from 1992–96, and in 1997 married Oasis singer Liam Gallagher.
