Kentwood

City in west-central Michigan, 13 km/8 mi southeast of Grand Rapids; population (1990) 37,800. Since it was settled in 1833, this largely residential suburb of Grand Rapids has developed a varied industrial base, including publishing, printing, and the manufacture of electronics, car parts, and office furniture.
