Kenwood House| Mansion on the east side of Hampstead Heath, London. It was enlarged by the Earl of Mansfield after he received the estate in 1765. Robert Adam designed two facades and the superb library, with lesser rooms, around 1766. |
| The house contains the art collection of the 1st Earl of Iveagh, including works by Rembrandt, Vermeer, Hals, Gainsborough, Reynolds, Turner, and Stubbs. English Heritage now manage the house and art collection, which were bequeathed to the nation in 1927. |
