Kenzo (1940– )Japanese fashion designer. He has been active in France from 1964. He opened his shop Jungle JAP in 1970, and by 1972 he was well established, known initially for unconventional designs based on traditional Japanese clothing. His fabrics are characterized by rich pattern and colour combinations.
