Khan, Jansher (1969– )

Pakistani squash player who won the World Open squash championship a record eight times. He became Asian Junior Champion in 1985. Two years later, aged only 18, he defeated the world number one Jahangir Khan in the final of the World Open championships. He won the British Open five times in succession since ending Jahangir's record ten-year unbeaten run in 1992.
