Killiney

Seaside resort 16 km/10 mi southeast of the city of Dublin, Republic of Ireland; population (2002) 10,600. It has a large crescent-shaped beach and a golf course. Killiney Hill has fine views of Killiney Bay and on its summit is an obelisk erected in 1741.
