Killingly

Town in northeastern Connecticut, on the Quinebaug River and the Rhode Island border, 29 km/18 mi northeast of Willimantic; population (1990) 16,000. Once a major cotton milling centre, it still produces some textiles.

It includes the industrial borough of Danielson (population (1990) 4,400) and East Killingly, Dayville, Attawaugan, Ballouville, and South Killingly.
