Village in Argyll and Bute unitary authority, Scotland, situated near the southern end of Loch Awe, straddling the natural route to Oban, 11 km/7 mi north of Lochgilphead. Some of Scotland's most important prehistoric sites are found in the vicinity, including chambered cairns, sculptured slabs and crosses, and Bronze Age cairns.
