Kimbolton

Kimbolton

Market town in Cambridgeshire, England, 18 km/11 mi west of Huntingdon; population (2001) 1,430. Fireworks are produced here. The church dates from the 13th century.

The castle (partly rebuilt by John Vanbrugh) was occupied by Catherine of Aragon after her divorce from Henry VIII until her death in 1536, and is now part of the private Kimbolton School.
