Kindersley

Town in southwestern Saskatchewan, Canada, 248 km/154 mi southwest of Saskatoon and 65 km/40 mi east of the Alberta border; population (1991) 4,600. Since 1909, when the Canadian National Railway built tracks through the town, it has been a service centre for an agricultural region. Oil and natural gas are developed as well.
